PortConMaine, Maine's Geek Culture Celebration, proudly presents: Maine Boffer Games! Maine Boffer Games is a weekend long event that is basically a field day of games-- boffer style! For anyone eighteen years or older, the event  includes: camping, story telling, boffer games- arena, individual, and group games, and more! Join us for an camping weekend long boffer extravaganza sure to entertain all involved.

DATES FOR 2013: AUGUST 16-18th, FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY!

Big Changes for 2013:

• Rain Plans! We will have space for events to be held in the event of rain. We will also post tips for camping in rain for those planning on staying overnight in their tents. 2012 has taught us all well...
• Fireworks! We're going to plan them in for 2013: fireworks on both Friday and Saturday night!
• Lower Cost! To encourage more participants in the weekend, and thus more fun for everyone, the new cost of the event will be $10 per person for the entire weekend! This means we're no longer providing food or a feast on Saturday, so please plan accordingly. The whole weekend for $10? Sounds awesome!

  Mystwood and MASI at the Maine Boffer Games:
  Mystwood will be running an adventure at this year's Maine Boffer Games!
  Although the primary purpose is to introduce new people to the game, this will be a fully "in character" event, with moonstones and treasure you get to keep!   We would love to have some veteran players and NPCs participate.
  
  
  You can attend the full Maine Boffer Games event for $20 (pre registered),  August 10th through 12th.
  
  
  Alternately, you can attend just the Mystwood modules, from 7 to 11 Saturday night, for $10, although you won't be able to camp there.

• 1/26/12: Dates selected for 2012! We're going all weekend-2012 will start FRIDAY the 10th and run until SUNDAY the 12th! Hopefully the extra day will allow for easier set up and more shenanigans all weekend long. Schedule details and more information coming soon.

• 7/11/11: Heya Boff Monkeys! I think we'll be cracking down on the cheese (no offense meant to Team Cheese ;) ) factor of some of the weapons and shields we've been seeing. What does this mean? Well primarily I don't want to see super whippy long weapons or shields the size of a car anymore. ;) I've been lienient in the past because we've just started making these things ourselves, but I think we're ready to sure up our construction skills. ^_^
